Terms & Conditions

 

1. Booking and Confirmation

All sessions must be booked in advance. A session is confirmed once full payment has been received. ​​

2. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. We accept credit card and bank transfer. 

​

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Your time and energy are valuable — and so is mine.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the session will incur the full session fee.

  • No-shows are charged the full session fee.

  • Rescheduling requests made 36 hours or more ahead of time will be accommodated, subject to availability.

This policy ensures fairness and supports the structure and reliability that are central to effective therapeutic work.

4. Late Arrivals:

To maintain structure and fairness for all clients:

  • Sessions will end at the scheduled time even if you arrive late.

  • Full session fees still apply for late arrivals.

  • If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

5. Online Sessions

Telehealth sessions are available via secure video platforms.

  • Clients are responsible for having a private, quiet space.

  • Ensure your device is fully charged and stable internet is available.

  • If technical issues prevent the session from proceeding, the session may be rescheduled, subject to availability.

6. Limits to Confidentiality

Therapeutic work is private. Exceptions include situations where disclosure is legally required, including but not limited to:

  • Risk of serious harm to self or others

  • Suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult

  • Court-ordered disclosure

Clients are encouraged to discuss confidentiality concerns during their first session.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are asked to:

  • Attend sessions on time

  • Actively participate in the therapeutic process

  • Respect the professional boundaries of the sessions

  • Take responsibility for their own wellbeing and decisions outside of the sessions

8. Session Conduct Expectations

To maintain a safe and productive space:

  • Respectful communication is required at all times

  • Harassment, aggression, or inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated

  • Sessions may be terminated if safe or respectful conduct is compromised

​

9. Private-Pay Policy

All sessions are private pay. There are no rebates unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is due at the time of booking.
